Manuel Lambrisca claims Argentinian La Liga Argentina weekly honour

Manuel Lambrisca (192-G/F-1997) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader Club Atletico San Isidro and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 50.
The 28-year old swingman had a double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Barrio Parque (#3, 18-9) 88-77. It allowed San Isidro to consolidate first place in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. San Isidro has a very solid 19-7 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Lambrisca had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range. It's his second year at San Isidro and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Manuel Lambrisca averages this season 13.6ppg and 7.0rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young power forward Pablo Martinez (197-PF-1982) of Club Sportivo Suardi. Martinez impressed basketball fans with 21 points and 6 rebounds. It was enough for Suardi to edge slightly lower-ranked Jujuy (#6, 16-13) by 3 points 87-84. The third best performed player last round was Hans Ponce (192-G/F-1999) of Colon Santa Fe (#16). Ponce got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds . Despite Ponce's great performance the Colon lost 92-100 to the higher-ranked Comunicaciones (#11, 11-13). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Colon not to end season at such low position in Conferencia Norte, however are less than slim as they have already lost 17 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Ponce could try to bring Colon SF's a little bit higher in the standings. Ponce has individually a great season in Argentina. After 24 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.6ppg (best scorer).
