Franco Pennacchiotti (205-C/F-1990) put on an amazing game in the last round for Villa Mitre de Bahia Blanca, receiving a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 52.
The 35-year old player had a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Pico FC (#6, 16-10) with 23-point margin 86-63. Villa Mitre maintains the 11th position in their group in the Argentinian La Liga Argentina. He was a key player of Comunicaciones, leading his team to a 95-88 win against the higher-ranked Salta Basket (#7, 15-13). The chances of Comunicaciones ranking at the top of Conferencia Norte, however are very questionable as they have already lost 14 games, recording just twelve victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Allende could help Comunicaciones to bring them higher in the standings. Allende has a very solid season. In 26 games in Argentina he scored 11.0ppg. He also has 4.3rpg and a FGP of 59.1%.
