Castellani's 26 points and 6 rebounds give him La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award

31-year old forward Lucio Castellani (196-F-1994) had a great game in the last round for Centenario de Venado Tuerto and receives a Hoops Agents La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 54.
He had the game-high 26 points adding six rebounds and three assists for Centenario VT in his team's victory, helping them to beat Rocamora (#15, 8-20) 112-100. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings in Conferencia Sur. Centenario VT is placed at 10th position in Argentinian La Liga Argentina. Centenario VT is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 14-13 record. Despite DeSouza's great performance the Las Heras lost 82-85 to the higher-ranked Suardi (#4, 20-12). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Las Heras can only dream about fighting for top spots in Conferencia Norte. They have rather bad season and 6-22 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. DeSouza has a very solid season. In 28 games in Argentina he scored 10.6ppg. He also has 6.3rpg and a FGP of 52.2%.
