Argentinian LDD round 38 best performance: German Misetich (by Hoops Agents)

Forward German Misetich (196-F-2005) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Atenas Cordoba, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 38.
The 20-year old player was the main contributor (28 points, seven rebounds and four assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Gimnasia (#13, 12-18) 92-87. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Atenas maintains the 15th position in Argentinian LDD. Atenas is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-19 record. In the team's last game Misetich had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Atenas' top player in his first season with the team. German Misetich averages this season 14.3ppg and 5.9rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Albano Costa (192-G-2006) of Obera Tennis Club. Costa had a very good evening with a double-double of 35 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Obera lost that game 76-86 to the higher-ranked Ferro (#6, 20-10). Obera managed to keep the same 10th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 14-15 record. Costa is well-known at Obera and is a proven leader in his second season with the team. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.6ppg (#4). He also registered 7.8 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Agustin Ferrari (2005) of Union de Santa Fe (#14). Ferrari showcased his all-around game by recording 29 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. Despite Ferrari's great performance the Union lost 87-91 to the lower-ranked Argentino (#17, 9-20). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Union not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 17 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Ferrari could try to bring Union's a little bit higher in the standings. Ferrari has individually a great season in Argentina. After 27 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.3ppg (7th best).
