San Jose outrebounded Hindu 41-26 including 30 on the defensive glass. San Jose players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Bolivian Romina Moreira (-1999) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Uruguayan point guard Aldana Gayoso (168-2000) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. The former international center Malvina DAgostino (184-2001) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Paola Alegre (162-2001) added 22 points in the effort for Hindu. Five San Jose and four Hindu players scored in double figures.

At the losing side forward Amanda Offman (172-1997) responded with 12 points and 7 rebounds and Luzmila Varzi scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

At the losing side the former international center Florencia Fernandez (189-1986) responded with 13 points and 6 rebounds and guard Giuliana Baccarelli (165-2004) scored 8 points and 7 rebounds. Ferro's coach Gabriel Fernandez let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
