It was a great evening for Juan Manuel Rivero (191-1985) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points. Forward Augusto Barbieri (195-2001) helped adding 13 points and 6 rebounds. Santa Paula's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Worth to mention a quality performance of Venezuelan power forward Fernando Fuenmayor (201-2000) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 6 rebounds. Ecuadorian power forward Matias Nunez (202-1995) helped adding 18 points and 4 assists. Four Racing A. players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Cuban Joan Gutierrez (192-2003) with 15 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Raul Pelorosso (178-1994) scored 9 points and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
