Avellaneda outrebounded Quimsa 42-26 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for power forward Milagros Morell (191-2007) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds. Guadalupe Castelnuovo contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Lorena Campos (171-1999) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists and guard Rocio Iturre (164-2000) added 11 points in the effort for Quimsa. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
