There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in LDB. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

LDB top team - Instituto (28-5) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat twelfth ranked Gimnasia CR (14-20) in Comodoro Rivadavia 90-86. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Gimnasia CR. Instituto dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Gimnasia CR's 38. 27 personal fouls committed by Gimnasia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Luca Salvetti (, agency: BIG) stepped up and scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and Bautista Corsi chipped in 21 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Venezuelan power forward Jesus Centeno (205-2006) with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds. Gimnasia CR's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Instituto have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 28-5 record. Gimnasia at the other side keeps the twelfth position with 20 games lost. Instituto are looking forward to face league's second-placed Obras in Buenos Aires in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Gimnasia will have a break next round.

They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with defeated Obera. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Racing Ch. managed to escape with a 2-point win 71-69 on Sunday evening. The best player for the winners was Tomas Delia who scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Ivan Villarroel who recorded 24 points and 7 rebounds. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Racing Ch.. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Obera. Loser San Lorenzo keeps the tenth position with 17 games lost. Racing Ch. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. San Lorenzo will play against Argentino (#17) in Junin and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 45: bottom-ranked Olimpico was destroyed by Regatas on the opponent's court 95-59. Independ.O. managed to outperform Atenas in a home game 81-72. Ferro rolled over Boca Jrs. on the road 109-74. Argentino was defeated by Obera on its own court 64-79. Bottom-ranked Olimpico was smashed by San Martin in Corrientes 95-54.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 19 points and 7 rebounds by Leonel Nunez of San Martin.



Racing Ch. - Obera 74-72

Very expected game in Corrientes where 19th ranked Olimpico (4-30) was crushed by third ranked Regatas (26-7) 95-59 on Friday. Regatas dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Olimpico's 16. Regatas looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Exequiel Lezcano (180-2007) who scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Juan Ferreyra (185-2003) chipped in 14 points. Five Regatas players scored in double figures. Regatas' coach Diego Checenelli felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Martin Perez who recorded 17 points and guard Jeremias Barco (-2005) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Regatas maintains third place with 26-7 record having just seven point less than leader Instituto. Olimpico lost their third game in a row. They stay dead last with 30 lost games. Regatas will meet Platense (#5) in the next round. Olimpico will have a break next round.

Despite that victory Independ.O. went down to ninth position due to points difference. Loser Atenas keeps the fifteenth place with 22 games lost. They share the position with San Martin. Independ.O. will meet league's second-placed Obras in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Atenas will play against Quimsa (#11) and hope to secure a win.
