LDB top team - Instituto (28-5) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat twelfth ranked Gimnasia CR (14-20) in Comodoro Rivadavia 90-86. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Gimnasia CR. Instituto dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Gimnasia CR's 38. 27 personal fouls committed by Gimnasia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Luca Salvetti (, agency: BIG) stepped up and scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and Bautista Corsi chipped in 21 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Venezuelan power forward Jesus Centeno (205-2006) with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds. Gimnasia CR's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Instituto have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 28-5 record. Gimnasia at the other side keeps the twelfth position with 20 games lost.
