An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Buenos Aires. First ranked Instituto faced their biggest opponent Obras. Guests from Cordoba (29-5) defeated host Obras (27-5) 70-64. Instituto dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Obras' 30. Instituto forced 20 Obras turnovers. Lucas Andersson fired 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Juan Aguilar chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Power forward Valentino Finetti (204-2005) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Instituto have an impressive 14-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 29-5 record. Obras at the other side keeps the second place with five games lost. Instituto are looking forward to face Quimsa (#11) in Santiago del Estero in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Obras will have a break next round.
The game in Florida supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Regatas (27-7) played at the court of 5th ranked Platense (22-12). Regatas smashed Platense 98-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Platense. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Ignacio Ortega (205-2004) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Alan Ledesma contributed with 26 points (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Joaquin Goncalves replied with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for Platense. Platense's coach Martin De Zan gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Regatas maintains third position with 27-7 record having just nine point less than leader Instituto. Platense at the other side dropped to the sixth place with 12 games lost. Regatas will play against Argentino (#17) in Junin in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Platense will play at home against San Martin (#15) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Quimsa managed to escape with a 2-point win 75-73 on Tuesday evening. Sebastian Bogado had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 19 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. At the losing side Benjamin Imaz responded with 25 points and 4 assists. Atenas' coach Lautaro Gonzalez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Quimsa maintains eleventh position with 15-18 record. Atenas lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixteenth place with 23 games lost. Quimsa will meet higher ranked Independ.O. (#10) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Atenas will play against Obera (#8) and hope to secure a win.
