Barrio Parque - Comunicaciones 76-71

Comunicaciones was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Benjamin Herrera (190-1999) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points and 5 rebounds. Francisco Bonja contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Center Raymon Bastardo (202-2002) answered with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks and point guard Tomas Allende (190-2002) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Comunicaciones. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Strangely Provincial outrebounded Dep Viedma 43-29 including 32 on the defensive glass. 25 personal fouls committed by Provincial helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was swingman Lisandro Fernandez (194-1998, agency: BIG) who scored 18 points. Joaquin Petre (188) chipped in 13 points. Dep Viedma's coach Guillermo Bogliacino used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Ecuadorian Abraham Barahona (195-2003) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Gaston Gerbaudo added 20 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Provincial players scored in double figures.

La Union dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Pico FC's 26 and made 23-of-27 charity shots (85.2 percent) during the game. Point guard Guido Cabrera (188-2000) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Rodrigo Acuna (198-1995) contributed with 16 points for the winners. The former international Leonardo Mainoldi (205-1985) answered with 22 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and American guard Latraius Mosley (198-1990, college: Life) added 22 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Pico FC. Five La Union and four Pico FC players scored in double figures.
