Araski inks Julieta Mungo

KutxaBank Araski (LF Endesa) agreed terms with 28-year old Argentinian international center Julieta Mungo (181cm-1997) for the new 2026-27 season. She has played for the last three years at Ardoi in the LF Challenge. In 32 games, she had 12.3ppg, 6.7rpg, 2.1apg, and 1.4spg last season. She helped them to make it to the Spanish LF Challenge final. In 2025-26, she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LF Challenge Center of the Year, named to All-Imports Team, and League Player of the Week.
Mungo has been a member of the Argentinian international program for some years. She has regularly played for the Argentinian senior team since 2019 and previously for the University National Team in 2017.
Mungo also represented Argentina at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournament in Istanbul (Turkey) this year. Mungo's team won Silver and she had over 9 points per game.
She has played previously in Spain between Ferrol, Patatas Hijolusa, and Granada, and during Argentina between Proyeccion 2020 – Seleccion U19, Berazategui, and Quimsa.
Her team won the Spanish LF Challenge Regular Season in 2024.
