KENTWAN SMITH

Team FOG Naestved (BasketLigaen) tabbed 26-year old Bahamas international forward Kentwan Smith (203-93kg-91, college: Stetson). He played most recently at MMCITE Brno in NBL league in Czech Republic. Smith managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 9 NBL games he averaged 9.6ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.2apg and 1.0spg. He also played 2 games in Alpe-Adria-Cup where he had 7.0ppg, 5.0rpg and 2.5spg. The other team Smith played that season for was BK Levicki Patrioti (SBL) in league. In 20 games he recorded 8.4ppg and 4.1rpg. He also played 4 games in Alpe-Adria-Cup where he got 7.5ppg and 4.5rpg. Smith's team made it to the Alpe Adria Final Four. He received Latinbasket.com All-Central American and Caribbean Games Honorable Mention award in 2018.
Smith also represented Bahamas at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla (Colombia) this year. His stats at that event were 5 games: 13.2ppg, 8.6rpg, 1.8apg, 1.0bpg, FGP: 51.5%, 3PT: 37.0%, FT: 40.0%.
And here thanks to pro basketball Smith experienced life on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Smith has played previously professionally in Finland (BC Nokia), Mexico (Fuerza Guinda Nogales) and Romania (Timisoara).
He attended Stetson University until 2015 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.

26-year old center Livingston Munnings (C-92) had a great game in the last round for Rockets and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 9. He had a double-double of 25 points and 18 rebounds, while his team beat Pirates (#7, 3-6) 100-88. Rockets maintains the 3rd position in Bahamas league. Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Nassau: Rockets (#3) and Pirates (#6). Rockets (7-2) won against visiting Pirates (3-6) 100-88. Rockets forced 24 Pirates turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 34 personal fouls committed by Pirates helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. ZANE KNOWLES ProB newcomer Chartres Basket Masculins strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old Bahamas international center Zane Knowles (208-116kg-92, college: Texas A&M-CC, agency: Octagon Europe).
