MICHAEL BAIN

33-year old shooting guard Michael Bain (185-SG-85) had an amazing evening in the last round for Giants and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had the game-high 23 points adding six rebounds and three assists for Giants in his team's victory, helping them to beat Regulators (#7, 1-5) 80-68. Giants maintains the 4th position in Bahamas league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Giants already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Bain had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Giants, through which he has constantly improved. Bain has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 20.5ppg), assists (6th best: 4.0apg) and averages solid 62.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Livingston Munnings (C-92) of league's second-best Rockets. He is international center in his 2nd season at Rockets. In the last game Munnings recorded impressive double-double of 26 points and 13 rebounds. Of course he led Rockets to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Defenders (#8, 1-5) 95-59. This victory allowed Rockets to move up to second position in the standings. His team's 5-2 record is not bad at all. Munnings is well-known at Rockets and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.0ppg (#8). He also registered 13.1 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Salathiel Dean (F) of league's leader Stingers. Dean scored 25 points and grabbed five rebounds. He was a key player of Stingers, leading his team to a 93-82 win against the lower-ranked Regulators (#7, 1-5). Stingers confirms their top position in the standings. Dean has a great season in Bahamas. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 11.3ppg (4th best).

5. Colton Albury) of Pros - 26 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Eugene Bain (195-C/F-88) of Stingers - 18 points, 13 rebounds and 3 assists

8. Adam Johnson) of Shockers - 14 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Randy Williams) of Stingers - 21 points and 2 assists
10. Dustan Mckenzie) of Shockers - 14 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Bahamas players, who play currently abroad. This week's number one is an international guard Buddy Hield (193-93).
