Renardo Baillou put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Regulators and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 8.
The had a double-double of 25 points and seventeen rebounds, while his team beat Pirates (#7, 2-5) 91-85. Regulators maintains the 6th position in Bahamas NPBA. Regulators is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-5 record. In the team's last game Baillou had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Regulators, through which he has constantly improved. Baillou has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 16.3rpg) and averages solid 2.2bpg,2.7spg,64.3% FGP and 40.9% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 30-year old former international Eugene Bain (195-C/F-88) of league's best team Stingers. Bain impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Stingers to another comfortable win 87-69 over the lower-ranked Bahamas Univ. (#4, 5-3) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Stingers consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 7 matches. Bain is a newcomer at Stingers and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.3ppg (#1). He also registered 7.8 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was former international guard Michael Bain (185-SG-85) of second-ranked Giants. Bain scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He was a key player of Giants, leading his team to a 95-65 easy win against the lower-ranked Shockers (#5, 3-5). Giants started extremely well this year. They recorded 6 victories without losing a single game. Bain turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Bain has a great season in Bahamas.
