Bahamas Univ. - Shockers 63-98

Shockers outscored Bahamas University on the road to take the lead in the series. Shockers dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Mingoes' 30. Shockers forced 23 Mingoes turnovers and had a 42-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Shockers especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. William Rigby fired a double-double by scoring 23 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Adam Johnson chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Four Shockers players scored in double figures. Forward Antwan Bevans (198, college: Casper CC) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and Kemsy Sylvester added 7 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Rockets - Regulators 88-68

Rockets topped Regulators for the lead in the series. Strangely Regulators outrebounded Rockets 68-52 including a 32-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Rockets brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Cordaro Pinder who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Lerecus Armbrister contributed with 17 points and 4 assists for the winners. Kenneth Pratt answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds and Simon Cruz added 8 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Regulators. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
