Giants - Bahamas Univ. 92-65

Giants overcame University of Bahamas to sweep the series. Giants dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Mingoes' 38. Giants forced 19 Mingoes turnovers and had a 38-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was international guard Jackson Jacob (186, college: NAIT) who scored 18 points and 4 assists. The former international guard Tehran Cox (185-87, college: High Point) chipped in 9 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Giants players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Antwan Bevans (198, college: Casper CC) who recorded 18 points and 7 rebounds and Kemsy Sylvester added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Stingers - Rockets 79-74

Stingers held off Rockets to take 2-1 lead in the series. Stingers forced 26 Rockets turnovers and outrebounded them 64-49 including a 30-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for forward Salathiel Dean who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 20 rebounds and 6 assists. Devon Ferguson contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Georgio Walkes answered with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Lerecus Armbrister added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Rockets. Rockets' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.
