Adam Johnson had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team Giants and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 5.
He had a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds, while his team outclassed High Flyers (#3, 1-1) with 28-point margin 97-69. It allowed Giants to take over top position in the Bahamas league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Giants already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Johnson had a remarkable 81.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Giants' top player in his first season with the team. Johnson has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 20.5ppg) and averages solid 5.0bpg,73.3% FGP and 80.0% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Theo Ferguson (F) of Rebels. He is a forward in his first season at Rebels. In the last game Ferguson recorded impressive double-double of 28 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Rebels was edged by slightly higher-ranked Uptown Cuts (#4, 1-2) 83-80. This loss caused Rebels to drop to 6th position in John Archer Division. 2 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Ferguson is a newcomer at Rebels and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third place about best performers goes to Chauncey Cooper of league's second-best Abaco Strong. Cooper showcased his all-around game by recording 12 points, twelve rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. He was a key player of Abaco Strong, leading his team to a 117-92 easy win against the lower-ranked Wolverines (#5, 1-3). Abaco Strong has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Cooper also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Cooper has a great season in Bahamas. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.5ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 14.0rpg (2nd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Gregory Seymour) of Defenders - 25 points, 15 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Malik Penn) of Abaco Strong - 32 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists
6. Tevin Hudson) of Abaco Strong - 19 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Stephan Burrows (186-G-92) of Uptown Cuts - 8 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists
8. Dominique Fernander) of Wolverines - 20 points and 8 rebounds
9. Rufus Dean) of Defenders - 18 points and 14 rebounds
10. Michael Bain (185-SG-85) of Giants - 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
