   #1. This week's number one is former international center DeAndre Ayton (216-98, college: Arizona, currently plays in NBA). He was the major contributor in a Phoenix Suns' victory against the New York Knicks (11-32) crushing them 121-98 in the NBA in Thursday night's game. Ayton had a double-double by scoring 26 points and getting 21 rebounds. He also added 2 blocks in 35 minutes on the court; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Ayton's second season in pro basketball. The Phoenix Suns have 18-24 record this season. Ayton has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 16.8ppg, 11.6rpg, 1.8apg, 1.6bpg, 2FGP: 53.9% and FT: 85.2% in 12 games he played so far. Ayton played for the Bahamas senior national team four years ago.

Buddy Hield

   #2. Second place goes to former international guard Buddy Hield (193-93, college: Oklahoma, currently plays in NBA). He could not help the Sacramento Kings (15-27) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Hield's very good performance the Sacramento Kings (15-27) were defeated 127-123 on the road by the Dallas Mavericks. He scored 25 points. This season Hield has very high stats. He averages: 20.1ppg, 5.0rpg, 3.1apg, 2FGP: 48.0%, 3FGP: 36.6% and FT: 82.3%. Hield played for the Bahamas national team in 2018.

   #3. The Bahamas player who performed third best last week abroad was former international forward Tavario Miller (203-94, college: Texas A&M, currently plays in Basketball Champions League Americas). Miller led his Argentinian team Quimsa to a victory against the closely-ranked Mogi (2-2) 96-83 in the Basketball Champions League Americas on Sunday night. He scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 22 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Quimsa Santiago del Estero (3-1) is placed fourth in the Basketball Champions League Americas. It's Miller's first season with the team. This year Miller's overall stats are: 7.3ppg, 2.8rpg, 2FGP: 71.4%(20-28) in six games. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball. He played for the Bahamas national team two years ago.

David Nesbitt

   #4. Power forward David Nesbitt (200-91, college: St.Thomas, FL, currently plays in Brazil) contributed to Corinthians' victory against the closely-ranked Sao Jose (7-8) 103-92 in the Brazilian NBB in Tuesday night's game. Nesbitt scored 13 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Sport Club Corinthians Paulista (7-3) is placed fourth in the NBB. Nesbitt has relatively good stats this season: 10.8ppg, 5.8rpg and 1.7apg. He is also Bahamas national team player.

   #5. Former international small forward Mark St.Fort (200-88, college: Warner, currently plays in Japan) was not able to help Saitama Broncos (15-14) in their last game. Despite St.Fort's very good performance Saitama Broncos were edged 79-76 in Ishikawa by the league outsider (#12) Kanazawa. He had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 10 rebounds. St.Fort also added 4 blocks in 35 minutes. St.Fort has very impressive stats this year: 18.6ppg, 10.0rpg, 2.2apg and 2.4bpg in 29 games. He used to play for the Bahamas national team two years ago.

   #6. Power forward Jonathan Augustin-Fairell (201-93, agency: Duran International, college: Murray St., currently plays in Belgium) was not able to secure a victory for Basic-Fit Brussels (4-9) in their game against Kangoeroes (6-7) in the Belgian Euromillions League. He scored 9 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 18 minutes. But Basic-Fit Brussels lost 72-76 in Mechelen to the higher-ranked (#7) Kangoeroes. It was Basic-Fit Brussels' fourth consecutive loss in a row. This year Augustin-Fairell has relatively solid stats: 10.3ppg, 6.6rpg and 1.1apg in 13 games. He has a dual citizenship: Bahamas and American. Augustin-Fairell is a former international player as he played for the Bahamas senior team two years ago.

Former international center Zane Knowles (208-92, agency: Octagon Europe, college: Texas A&M-CC, currently plays in Greece) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Ionikos Nikaias (7-9) crushing them 110-80 in the Greek A1 last Saturday. He recorded 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. PAOK Thessaloniki (6-7) is placed sixth in the A1. Knowles' total stats this season are: 9.3ppg and 7.8rpg. He used to play for the Bahamas national team two years ago.

   #8. Forward Qyemah Gibson (196-97, currently plays in Canada) couldn't help the Saint Mary's University (5-6) in their last game. Despite Gibson's good performance the Saint Mary's University (#5) lost 72-76 in Fredericton to the Varsity Reds. He had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 10 rebounds. Gibson also added 3 blocks in 33 minutes. Gibson has very impressive stats this year: 17.0ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.6apg and 1.5bpg in 11 games. He used to play for the Bahamas U17 national team back in 2013.

   #9. An experienced former international forward Jaraun Burrows (203-85, college: PFW, currently plays in France) couldn't help Aix-Maurienne (7-8) in their last game. Despite his good performance Aix-Maurienne was crushed 90-58 in Blois by the leading ADA Blois. Burrows was the second best scorer with 11 points. He also added 6 rebounds in 31 minutes. Burrows has reliable stats this year: 14.3ppg, 5.9rpg, 2.9apg and 1.4spg in 14 games. He used to play for the Bahamas national team two years ago.

   #10. Guard Shamar Burrows (190-97, currently plays in Canada) contributed to an easy victory against the Axemen (5-7) 85-67 in the U Sports in Wednesday night's game. He scored 12 points, grabbed 9 boards, passed 3 assists and added 3 steals in 22 minutes. The Dalhousie University has a very good 11-1 record this season. This year Burrows' total stats are: 8.5ppg, 4.8rpg, 1.3apg and 1.8spg in 12 games. He is a former U16 international player as seven years ago he still played for the Bahamas national team.

   #11. Former international power forward Kadeem Coleby (206-89, agency: HMS, college: Wichita St., currently plays in Japan) couldn't help Akita Happinets in their game against Chiba Jets in the Japanese B1 League. He scored only 4 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and made 4 blocks. His team were crushed by 21 points 96-75. Coleby averaged so far 10.2ppg, 6.7rpg, 1.5apg and 2.0bpg. Coleby attended previously one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball. He used to play for the Bahamas national team two years ago.

   #12. International center Shaquille Cleare (203-93, college: Texas, currently plays in Spain) contributed to an Lleida Basquet's surprising victory against the sixth-ranked Leyma Basquet crushing them 81-56 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) in Friday night's game. He scored 7 points, had 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Cleare averaged so far 10.8ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.1apg. He is also in the roster of the Bahamas national team.

   #13. Former U17 international forward Sebastian Gray (198-97, college: N.Okl.-Enid. JC, currently plays in Canada) is a teammate of previously mentioned Qyemah Gibson and both played together in the last U Sports game. Gray couldn't help the Saint Mary's University in their game against the Varsity Reds, despite his good performance last Saturday. He scored 12 points, had 4 boards, handed out 3 passes and blocked 3 shots in 23 minutes. But his team lost 72-76. Gray has averaged so far 9.8ppg and 5.5rpg in 11 games. He is another player who holds two passports: Bahamas and American. Gray used to play for the Bahamas U17 national team seven years ago.

   #14. Former U16 international forward Kai Jones (211-1, currently plays college basketball in the States) managed to help The University of Texas to win against the Oklahoma State University 76-64 in the NCAA on Wednesday night. He scored only 4 points, had 5 rebounds and made 5 blocks. Jones has averaged so far 2.8ppg, 2.6rpg and 1.2bpg. He used to play for the Bahamas U16 national team back in 2017.

   #15. Former U17 international forward Jordan Wilson (196-96, currently plays in Canada) is a teammate of previously mentioned Shamar Burrows. But that was another game of his team in U Sports which we would like to mention. Wilson contributed to an easy victory against the Varsity Reds crushing them 82-61. He scored 10 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 23 minutes. Wilson has averaged so far 8.7ppg, 5.4rpg, 2.0apg and 1.6spg in nine games. He used to play for the Bahamas U17 national team seven years ago.


The list of other players, who all have Bahamas passport but never been selected to any of Bahamas national teams:

   #1. Radshad Davis (188-F, currently plays college basketball in the States) led UT Arlington to an easy victory against the University of Louisiana at Monroe (2-7) crushing them 78-58 in the NCAA on Saturday night. Davis recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 14 rebounds. The University of Texas at Arlington has 4-5 conference record this season. Davis' total stats this year are: 8.0ppg, 5.9rpg and 1.5apg.

   #2. Godfrey Rolle (180-PG, currently plays in NCAA2) led Southwest Baptist University to an easy victory against the Maryville University (0-5) 89-72 in the NCAA2 in Saturday night's game. Rolle recorded 17 points and added 3 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. The Southwest Baptist University has 2-0 record this season. Rolle has reliable stats this year: 10.7ppg, 2.8rpg and 3.1apg.

   #3. Azaro Roker (198-F, currently plays in Canada) contributed to a 2-point St. Francis Xavier University's victory against the Axemen (5-7) 95-93 in the U Sports on Sunday night. Roker recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points and getting 17 rebounds. The St. Francis Xavier University has 6-5 record this season. Roker is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in St. Francis Xavier University's roster. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Roker averages: 16.2ppg, 12.5rpg and 1.3apg.

   #4. Kevin Altidor (196-F-90, college: Young Harris, currently plays in Norway) could not help Tromso (8-12) in their last game. Despite Altidor's very good performance Tromso was crushed 95-70 at home by the leading Kongsberg. He had a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 12 rebounds. Altidor also added 5 assists in 27 minutes. It was Tromso's fourth consecutive loss in a row. Altidor has very impressive stats this year: 20.8ppg, 10.3rpg, 2.8apg and 2.4spg in 20 games he played so far.

   #5. Brandon Meadows (190-G, currently plays in NCAA2) was not able to help the Eastern New Mexico University in their game against the Lubbock Christian University (0-1) in the NCAA2. Meadows scored 6 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 22 minutes. his team was edged 62-60 on the road by the Christian University. Meadows has averaged so far 5.9ppg and 4.1rpg in 14 games.

   #6. Shaquillo Fritz (203-F/C-94, currently studies in the States) was not able to secure a victory for the Pacific in their game against the Santa Clara University in the NCAA. He cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. Fritz scored only 2 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. His team was defeated 84-80. Fritz has averaged so far 2.7ppg and 3.6rpg.

   #7. Edajh Fawkes (183-PG, currently plays in NCAA2) couldn't help the Lane College in their game against the Kentucky State University in the NCAA2. He cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. Fawkes recorded only 2 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. His team was defeated 85-73 in the NCAA2. Fawkes has averaged so far 6.2ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.6apg and 1.2spg.

   #8. Nate Bethel (193-G, currently plays in NCAA2) couldn't help the McKendree University in their game against the Rockhurst University in the NCAA2. He recorded 5 points and added 4 assists in 19 minutes. His team was edged 82-79 in the NCAA2. Bethel has averaged so far 9.0ppg and 3.8rpg in eight games.

   #9. Edriel Martinborough (175-PG, currently plays in NAIA) contributed to a Evangel University's victory against the Missouri Valley College 77-67 in the NAIA in Saturday night's game. He scored 6 points and added 3 assists. Martinborough averaged so far 14.9ppg, 4.4rpg and 3.2apg.

   #10. Jevaughn Ferguson (203-F, currently plays in NCAA2) couldn't help the William Jewell College in their game against the University of Southern Indiana in the NCAA2. He cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. Ferguson recorded only 2 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 16 minutes. His team was badly defeated by 16 points 76-60 in the NCAA2. Ferguson has averaged so far 1.8ppg and 1.8rpg in 12 games.
