DeAndre Ayton

   #1. This week's number one is an international center DeAndre Ayton (216-98, college: Arizona, currently plays in NBA). He could not help the Phoenix Suns (24-37) in their last game. Despite Ayton's very good performance the Phoenix Suns (24-37) lost 92-102 at home to the Los Angeles Clippers. He had a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 17 rebounds. Ayton also added 3 blocks in 36 minutes on the court; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. It was Suns' third consecutive loss in a row. Ayton has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 18.9ppg, 11.7rpg, 1.9apg, 1.6bpg, 2FGP: 55.9%(245-438) and FT: 78.1% in 29 games he played so far. Ayton is currently a member of the Bahamas senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international guard Buddy Hield (193-93, college: Oklahoma, currently plays in NBA). He led Sacramento Kings to an easy victory against the Golden State Warriors (13-48) 112-94 in the NBA last Tuesday. Hield scored 19 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. The Sacramento Kings have 26-34 record this season. This year Hield has very high stats. He averages: 19.9ppg, 4.9rpg, 3.1apg, 2FGP: 48.6%, 3FGP: 38.6% and FT: 85.4%. Hield is in the roster of the Bahamas senior national team.

   #3. The Bahamas player who performed third best last week abroad was former international power forward Jonathan Augustin-Fairell (201-93, agency: Duran International, college: Murray St., currently plays in Argentina). He was not able to help Obras (16-5) in their last game. Despite Augustin-Fairell's very good performance Obras was edged 91-89 on the road by the much lower-ranked (#14) Olimpico de La Banda. He was the second best scorer with 15 points. Augustin-Fairell also added 8 rebounds and made 3 blocks in 28 minutes. Augustin-Fairell has relatively good stats this year: 13.5ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.5bpg, 2FGP: 54.5% and FT: 33.3% in two games. He has a dual citizenship: Bahamas and American. Augustin-Fairell played for the Bahamas national team two years ago.

Tavario Miller

   #4. Forward Tavario Miller (203-94, college: Texas A&M, currently plays in Argentina) led Quimsa to an easy victory against the 11th-ranked Obras (10-13) crushing them 107-81 in the Argentinian La Liga in Wednesday night's game. Miller scored 15 points, had 7 rebounds, passed 3 assists and added 2 blocks; not bad, considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Quimsa Santiago del Estero (7-1) is placed first in the La Liga. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. This season Miller has relatively solid stats: 10.8ppg and 5.4rpg. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball. He used to play for the Bahamas national team back in 2018.

   #5. International power forward David Nesbitt (200-91, college: St.Thomas, FL, currently plays in Brazil) was not able to secure a victory for Corinthians (7-3) in their last game. Despite Nesbitt's very good performance Corinthians lost 80-89 in a derby game to the second-ranked Sao Paulo. He had a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 11 rebounds. Nesbitt also added and 3 steals (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!) in 39 minutes. It's Nesbitt's first season with the team. He has reliable stats this year: 12.3ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.7apg and 1.1spg in 23 games. Nesbitt plays currently for the Bahamas national team.

   #6. Guard L.J. Rose (193-93, college: Henderson St., currently plays in Czech Republic) couldn't help BK Olomoucko (15-11) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance the fourth-placed BK Olomoucko (15-11) was defeated 96-90 in Pardubice by the lower-ranked BK Pardubice (#6) in the Places 1-8 group. Rose was the top scorer with 21 points. He also added 5 passes. Rose's stats this season are: 15.0ppg, 4.0rpg and 7.0apg. He is another player who holds two passports: Bahamas and American. Despite Rose played previously for the USA U16 national team, he is also a former international player as he played for the Bahamas senior team two years ago.

International forward Travis Munnings (198-94, agency: Interperformances, college: ULM, currently plays in France) was the major contributor in a La Rochelle's surprising victory against the second-ranked Tours (18-8) 88-74 in the French NM1 (third division) last Saturday. Munnings recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 3 assists. Stade Rochelais Basket (10-16) is placed 13th in Group A. The Regular Season already ended. Munnings averaged so far 14.5ppg, 8.0rpg, 3.8apg and 1.7spg. He is also Bahamas national team player.

Small forward Mark St.Fort (200-88, college: Warner, currently plays in Japan) contributed to a Saitama Broncos' victory against one of league's weakest teams Gifu Swoops (8-31) 70-57 in the Japanese B3 League on Sunday night. St.Fort recorded 9 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 30 minutes. Saitama Broncos (19-20) are placed seventh in the B3 League. St.Fort has very impressive stats this year: 17.9ppg, 9.8rpg, 2.3apg and 2.0bpg in 39 games. He used to play for the Bahamas national team back in 2018.

   #9. Former U17 international forward Qyemah Gibson (196-97, currently plays in Canada) couldn't help the Saint Mary's University (11-9) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Saint Mary's University (#3) was crushed 81-57 in St. John's by the Sea Hawks. Gibson was the top scorer with 15 points. He also added 6 rebounds in 31 minutes. They ended the series of five consecutive victories. Gibson has very impressive stats this year: 15.5ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.7apg and 1.5bpg in 22 games. He used to play for the Bahamas U17 national team seven years ago.

Forward Jordan Wilson (196-96, currently plays in Canada) led Dalhousie University to an easy victory against the Huskies (3-11) crushing them 84-64 in a derby game in the U Sports on Saturday night. Wilson recorded 13 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. The Dalhousie University has a very solid 19-1 record this season. It was his team's ninth consecutive victory in a row. Wilson's overall stats this season are: 8.7ppg, 4.8rpg, 2.4apg and 1.3spg. He is a former U17 international player as seven years ago he still played for the Bahamas national team.

   #11. International center Shaquille Cleare (203-93, college: Texas, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help Lleida Basquet in their game against HLA Alicante in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division). He scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 24 minutes. His team lost 55-67. Cleare's stats this year are: 11.2ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.1apg in 23 games. He plays currently for the Bahamas national team.

   #12. An experienced former international forward Sammy Hunter (206-0, currently plays college basketball in the States) helped Ole Miss win their game against the Vanderbilt University crushing them 86-60 in the NCAA last Saturday. He scored 7 points and blocked 3 shots in only 13 minutes. This year Hunter's overall stats are: 3.1ppg and 1.3rpg in 24 games. He used to play for the Bahamas national team back in 2018.

   #13. Former U16 international forward Kai Jones (211-1, currently studies in the States) managed to help The University of Texas in a victory against the West Virginia University 67-57 in the NCAA in Monday night's game. He recorded only 4 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks in 25 minutes. This year Jones' total stats are: 3.0ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.1bpg in 24 games. He used to play for the Bahamas U16 national team three years ago.

   #14. Former U16 international guard Shamar Burrows (190-97, currently plays in Canada) is a teammate of previously mentioned Jordan Wilson and both played together in the last U Sports game. Burrows helped Dalhousie University win their game against the Huskies crushing them 84-64 in a derby game. He recorded 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Burrows has averaged so far 8.6ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.4apg and 1.7spg. He used to play for the Bahamas U16 national team back in 2013.

   #15. Former U17 international forward Sebastian Gray (198-97, college: NOC-Enid JC, currently plays in Canada) is a teammate of previously mentioned Qyemah Gibson and both played together in the last U Sports game. Gray couldn't help the Saint Mary's University in their game against the Sea Hawks. He scored 7 points, had 7 rebounds and made 3 blocks in 15 minutes. His team was crushed by 24 points 81-57. Gray has averaged so far 9.6ppg and 5.4rpg in 22 games. He has both American and Bahamas nationalities. Gray used to play for the Bahamas U17 national team seven years ago.

   #1. Azaro Roker (198-F, currently plays in Canada) led St. Francis Xavier University to a victory over the Varsity Reds (13-7) 84-77 in the U Sports in Saturday night's game. Roker was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 11 rebounds in 28 minutes. The St. Francis Xavier University has 11-9 record this season. Roker is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in St. Francis Xavier University's roster. Roker has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 17.5ppg, 13.0rpg and 1.2apg in 22 games he played so far.

   #2. Godfrey Rolle (180-PG, currently plays in NCAA2) contributed to a Southwest Baptist University's victory against the William Jewell College (3-11) 71-66 in the NCAA2 in Saturday night's game. Rolle recorded 14 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. The Southwest Baptist University has 2-0 record this season. There are only three games left until the end of the NCAA2 Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Rolle averaged so far 11.3ppg, 3.0rpg and 2.7apg.

   #3. Kevin Altidor (196-F-90, college: Young Harris, currently plays in Norway) helped Tromso win their game against one of league's weakest teams Ammerud Bskt (7-20) crushing them 111-88 in the Norwegian BLNO in Sunday night's game. Altidor recorded 14 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals in 27 minutes. Tromso Storm (13-14) is placed sixth in the BLNO. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Altidor has very impressive stats this year: 19.4ppg, 9.5rpg, 3.0apg and 2.3spg in 27 games.

   #4. Nathan Bain (198-F, currently plays college basketball in the States) helped SF Austin win their game against the Lamar University (10-9) 95-76 in the NCAA last Saturday. He scored 10 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 5 assists. The Stephen F. Austin State University has quite an impressive 17-1 conference record this season. There are only two games left until the end of the NCAA Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Bain has been at the team for five years. Bain's overall stats this season are: 5.9ppg, 3.6rpg, 1.9apg and 1.1spg.

   #5. Malachi McCoy (196-F, currently plays in NCAA2) helped Benedict College win their game against the Paine College 93-75 in the NCAA2 in Tuesday night's game. McCoy scored 11 points, had 8 rebounds and made 2 blocks. The Benedict College has 8-8 record this season. There are only two games left until the end of the NCAA2 Regular Season. So now every game will be extremely important. McCoy's overall stats this season are: 6.0ppg and 3.9rpg.

   #6. Brandon Meadows (190-G, currently plays in NCAA2) helped Eastern New Mexico University win their game against the Cameron University crushing them 92-71 in the NCAA2 on Thursday night. Meadows scored 12 points and added 3 assists. Meadows' total stats this season are: 5.7ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.2apg.

   #7. Radshad Davis (188-F, currently studies in the States), who plays in the NCAA could not help the UT Arlington to beat the Texas State University at San Marcos. He scored 6 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 4 assists. His team was edged 87-85. Davis has averaged so far 8.3ppg, 6.2rpg and 1.8apg.

   #8. Shaquillo Fritz (203-F/C-94, is currently at the American university) helped Pacific win their game against the University of San Diego 71-64 in the NCAA on Saturday night. He scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Fritz has averaged so far 2.9ppg and 3.3rpg.

   #9. Nate Bethel (193-G, currently plays in NCAA2) helped McKendree University win their game against the Bellarmine University 94-83 in the NCAA2 last Saturday. He recorded 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Bethel has averaged so far 9.4ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.1apg.

   #10. Shaquille Evans (196-F-95, currently plays in NAIA) was not able to help the Montreat Anderson College in their game against the Union College, Kentucky in the AAC. He scored 7 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 17 minutes. His team was edged 84-81 in the AAC. Evans has averaged so far 9.4ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.1apg in 18 games.
