Uptown Cuts - High Flyers 89-97

High Flyers forced 31 Uptown Cuts turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Uptown Cuts were plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Shantoin Pratt scored 6 points, 7 rebounds and 13 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Jeremy Neely chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Colton Albury responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Salathiel Dean produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Giants looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Wolverines' players. Renardo Baillou notched a double-double by scoring 18 points and 17 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international Michael Bain (185-85) supported him with 18 points and 5 assists. Five Giants players scored in double figures. Even 14 points and 9 rebounds by American Dominique Fernander (, college: Hobart) did not help to save the game for Wolverines. Charaz Lafleur added 6 points and 4 assists for the hosts.

Wilfred Culmer produced 13 points and Hakeem Walkes added 10 points respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
