Travis Munnings
Travis Munnings
#1. This week's number one is an international forward Travis Munnings (198-94, agency: Duran International, college: ULM, currently plays in Portugal). He led Oliveirense to a victory over the league outsider Galitos-Barreiro (0-2) crushing them 88-57 in the Portuguese LPB in Saturday night's game. Munnings was MVP of the game. He scored 23 points, grabbed 8 boards, dished 4 assists and stole 3 balls in 35 minutes on the court; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Munnings' second season in pro basketball. U.D. Oliveirense (2-0) is placed third in the LPB. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Munnings' first year with the team. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Munnings averages: 17.0ppg, 7.0rpg, 3.5apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 55.0%, 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 75.0% in two games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Bahamas and American. Munnings is currently a member of the Bahamas senior national team.

Jonathan Augustin-Fairell

#2. Second place goes to former international power forward Jonathan Augustin-Fairell (201-93, also represented by Duran International, college: Murray St., currently plays in Portugal). He was the main contributor in a FC Porto's victory against the 12th-ranked Academica (0-2) 62-55 in the Portuguese LPB last Sunday. Augustin-Fairell was the best player in that game. He recorded 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. It was his first game for FC Porto this season. His team is placed second in the LPB. But the season just started, so everything may happen. Augustin-Fairell is another player who holds two passports: Bahamas and American. He played for the Bahamas national team in 2018.

Kadeem Coleby

#3. The Bahamas player who performed third best last week abroad was former international power forward Kadeem Coleby (206-89, college: Wichita St., currently plays in Japan). Coleby could not help Akita Happinets (4-2) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance the fifth-placed Akita Happinets (4-2) were defeated 82-76 on the road by the second-ranked Ryukyu GK in the East group. Coleby was the second best scorer with 15 points. He also added 7 boards, handed out 4 passes and blocked 2 shots. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. Coleby is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Akita Happinets' roster. Coleby has relatively good stats this season: 13.8ppg, 7.0rpg, 2.3apg, 1.3bpg, 2FGP: 73.3%(33-45) and FT: 65.4%. Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball. He played for the Bahamas national team two years ago.

Willis Mackey
Willis Mackey
#4. Forward Willis Mackey (203-96, another player represented by Duran International, college: UNOH, currently plays in France) contributed to an easy victory against the 12th-ranked Vendee Challans (1-2) crushing them 99-78 in the French NM1 (third division) last Friday. Mackey was the top player that evening. He recorded 17 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks in 25 minutes. JSA Bordeaux Basket (1-2) is placed tenth in Group A. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Mackey's first year with the team. This season Mackey's overall stats are: 9.0ppg, 3.7rpg and 1.7apg in three games. He is also Bahamas national team player.

Gjio Bain
Gjio Bain
#5. Former international center Gjio Bain (212-85, college: Southern Miss, currently plays in Japan) was not able to help the league outsider San-en NeoPhoenix in their game against Aishin Sea Horses (5-1) in the Japanese B1 League. Bain recorded only 4 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. San-en NeoPhoenix (#9) was crushed 85-57 in Kariya by the leading Aishin Sea Horses in the West group. So far San-en NeoPhoenix lost all six games in the Regular Season. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Bain's first year with the team. His total stats this season are: 4.5ppg and 4.3rpg. Bain used to play for the Bahamas national team nine years ago.

Winslo Barry Jr.

Barry Jr. is international player as he played for the Bahamas senior team one years ago.

One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Bahamas passport:

#1. Aaron Levarity (203-F-97, college: Milligan, currently plays in Denmark) could not help Svendborg (3-1) in their last game. Despite Levarity's very good performance the third-placed Svendborg (3-1) lost 91-101 on the road to the leading Randers in the Pro A group. He was the top scorer with 18 points. Levarity also added 7 rebounds and 4 assists in 34 minutes; not bad, considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. It was Svendborg's first loss after three consecutive victories. But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen. It's Levarity's first year with the team. Levarity has relatively good stats this season: 12.0ppg and 5.0rpg in four games he played so far.
