Here is the weekly review of the top performing Bahamas players, who play currently abroad.
#1. This week's number one is former international center
DeAndre Ayton (216-1998, college:
Arizona, currently plays in NBA). He led
Phoenix Suns to a victory against the New Orleans Pelicans (36-46)
110-99 in the NBA last Sunday.
Ayton recorded 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks; not bad, considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. The Phoenix Suns have a very solid 64-18 record this season.
Ayton has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 17.3ppg, 10.2rpg, 1.5apg, 2FGP: 64.2%(444-692) and FT: 74.6%.
Ayton played for the Bahamas senior national team year ago.
#2. Second place goes to former international center
Zane Knowles (208-1992, agency:
BIG, college:
TAMUCC, currently plays in Bulgaria). He led
Levski to a 3-point victory over the eighth-ranked Yambol (8-17)
81-78 in the Bulgarian NBL on Sunday night.
Knowles was MVP of the game. He had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 11 rebounds in 25 minutes.
Levski Sofia (9-4) is placed second in the NBL.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
Knowles has relatively good stats this year: 14.0ppg, 6.8rpg, 2FGP: 64.9%(24-37) in four games he played so far.
He played for the Bahamas national team in 20.
#3. The Bahamas player who performed third best last week abroad was former international guard
Buddy Hield (193-1993, college:
Oklahoma, currently plays in NBA). Hield could not help the
Indiana Pacers (25-57) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance the Indiana Pacers (25-57) were defeated
134-126 on the road by the Brooklyn Nets.
Hield was the second best scorer with 21 points. He also added 6 assists.
The Regular Season already ended in the NBA.
This season Hield has very high stats. He averages: 18.2ppg, 5.1rpg, 4.8apg, 2FGP: 54.9%, 3FGP: 36.2% and FT: 88.6%.

#4. Power forward
Aaron Levarity (203-1997, college:
Milligan, currently plays in Denmark) was the major contributor in
Svendborg's victory against the fifth-ranked Naestved (17-10)
102-90 in the Danish BasketLigaen last Monday.
He had a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 14 rebounds in 40 minutes.
Svendborg Rabbits (19-9) is placed second in Winner Stage group.
The Second Stage already ended.
This year Levarity has relatively solid stats: 14.7ppg, 11.0rpg, 2.4apg and 1.3spg in 27 games.

#5. An experienced former international forward
Jaraun Burrows (203-1985, college:
PFW, currently plays in France) led
STB Le Havre to a victory over the sixth-ranked Poitiers (2-7) crushing them
105-79 in the French NM1 (third division) on Friday night.
Burrows was the best player in that game. He recorded 19 points.
Saint Thomas Basket Le Havre (20-2) is placed first in Group A.
The Second Stage already ended.
Burrows has reliable stats this season: 13.5ppg, 4.6rpg and 2.0apg.

#6. Forward
Tavario Miller (203-1994, college:
Texas A&M, currently plays in Brazil) was not able to help
Minas (2-1) in their last game. Despite his good performance Minas was crushed
101-69 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked (#5) Paschoalotto/Bauru.
Miller was the second best scorer with 11 points in 23 minutes.
The Regular Season already ended.
Miller's stats this year are: 11.0ppg and 7.1rpg in 32 games.
Worth to mention Miller played also at
Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball. He is a former international player as he played for the Bahamas senior team year ago.
#7. Former international forward
Travis Munnings (198-1994, college:
ULM, currently plays in Portugal) managed to help Sport Lisboa Benfica to win against the second-ranked FC Porto (22-4)
79-63 in the Portuguese LPB last Sunday.
Munnings scored 5 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams. Sport Lisboa Benfica (22-0) is placed first in Places 1-4 group.
So far his team won all twenty two games in the Second Stage.
There are only two games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game is very crucial.
Munnings' overall stats this season are: 7.3ppg, 5.0rpg, 1.6apg and 1.3spg.
He has a dual citizenship: Bahamas and American.

Robert Nortmann (204-1987, college:
Dalhousie, currently plays in Germany) was not able to secure a victory for
Schwelm (12-10) in their game against OrangeAcademy (14-8) in the German ProB (third division).
He scored only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 23 minutes.
The fifth-placed Schwelm (12-10) lost

He was MVP of the game. Thompson scored 41 points (!!!) in 31 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his first season in pro basketball. The Golden State Warriors have a solid 54-29 record this season.
It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row.
