Coincidentally all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
Tucker Boys - Shockers 76-101 The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Nassau: Shockers (#1) and Tucker Boys (#5). Tucker Boys were smashed at home by 25 points 76-101 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Shockers dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Tucker Boys' 44. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Tucker Boys' players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Shockers made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Shakwon Lewis (178-1996, college: Butte CC) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists. Dario Mckenzie contributed with 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Randon Swaby replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and Arlington Brown added 14 points and 13 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) in the effort for Tucker Boys. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Shockers have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 3-0 record. Tucker Boys at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. Shockers' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Nassau Rockets.
