Shakwon Lewis' triple-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

International Point guard Shakwon Lewis (178-PG-1996) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Shockers, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 26-year old player recorded a triple-double of 23 points adding also 10 rebounds and 13 assists, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Tucker Boys (#5, 0-3) with 25-point margin 101-76. It allowed Shockers to consolidate first place in the Bahamas NPBA. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Shockers already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Lewis had a remarkable 87.5% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Shockers' top player in his first season with the team. Former Butte College star has very solid stats this year. Lewis is in league's top in points (4th best: 15.0ppg), assists (2nd best: 7.7apg) and averages impressive 3.0spg and 72.2% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Randon Swaby of Tucker Boys. Swaby had a very good evening with a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Tucker Boys lost that game 76-101 to Vince Ferguson Division's leader Shockers (#1, 3-0). Tucker Boys managed to keep the same 5th spot in Vince Ferguson Division. 3 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Swaby is a newcomer at Tucker Boys, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 13.0ppg (#9). He also registered 12.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Shockers' star - American Dominique Fernander. Fernander scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds. He was another key player of Shockers, helping his team with a 101-76 easy win against Tucker Boys (#5, 0-3). Shockers started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game in Vince Ferguson Division. Fernander turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Fernander has a great season in Bahamas. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.3ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 8.7rpg (6th best).
