Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Third defeat of league's leader Sand Dollar (9-3) against top-ranked Rockets (13-0) 102-84 was the most important game of the last round. Rockets outrebounded Sand Dollar 63-48 including a 44-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Sand Dollar's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Rockets made 8 blocks. It was a good game for Roosevelt Whylly who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international guard Abel Joseph (200-1990, college: Holland) contributed with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Rus-shorn Strachan replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for Sand Dollar. Undefeated Rockets have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-0 record. Sand Dollar at the other side dropped to the second place with three games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Giants.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Nassau: Bahamas Univ. (#3) and Zulu MM (#5). Bahamas Univ. (6-6) smashed visiting Zulu MM (0-12) by 17 points 81-64. Delano Armbrister scored 24 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Erquantae Edgecombe chipped in 11 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Bahamas Univ.'s coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was Selwyn Mckenzie with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Bahamas Univ. have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 6-6 record having eight points less than leader Giants. Zulu MM at the other side still closes the standings with 12 games lost.

Shockers were defeated at home 88-99 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Kemsey Sylvestre notched 21 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 blocks to lead the effort. Even a double-double of 33 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 4 assists by William Rigby did not help to save the game for Shockers. Regulators maintains third position with 6-5 record having nine points less than leader Giants. Loser Shockers keep the second place with five games lost.

In the last two games of round 18 Giants beat Tucker Boys on the road 87-74. Rockets destroyed Rebels on its own court 109-81.



Bahamas Univ. - Zulu MM 81-64

Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Nassau: Bahamas Univ. (#3) and Zulu MM (#5). Bahamas Univ. (6-6) smashed visiting Zulu MM (0-12) by 17 points 81-64. Bahamas Univ. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Zulu MM's 26. Bahamas Univ. forced 19 Zulu MM turnovers and outrebounded them 52-37 including 18 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Delano Armbrister scored 24 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Erquantae Edgecombe chipped in 11 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Shockers - Regulators 88-99

Another interesting game was again a derby between two local teams from Nassau: Regulators (#3) and Shockers (#2). Shockers were defeated at home 88-99 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Regulators forced 21 Shockers turnovers. Strangely Shockers outrebounded Regulators 48-36 including 19 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Kemsey Sylvestre notched 21 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 blocks to lead the effort and Cruz Simon supported him with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Five Regulators players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 33 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 4 assists by William Rigby did not help to save the game for Shockers. American Dominique Fernander (, college: Hobart) added 20 points and 9 rebounds. Regulators maintains third position with 6-5 record having nine points less than leader Giants. Loser Shockers keep the second place with five games lost.

Tucker Boys - Giants 74-87

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Giants (9-2) beat 5th ranked Tucker Boys (2-9) in Nassau 87-74 on Saturday. Giants looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Swingman Dylan Musgrove (190, college: Southeastern) notched a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international Michael Bain (185-1985) supported him with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Four Giants players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 13 points and 15 rebounds by Randon Swaby did not help to save the game for Tucker Boys. Rufus Dean added 21 points and 5 rebounds. Tucker Boys' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Giants keep a position of league leader. Loser Tucker Boys keep the fifth place with nine games lost.

Rather expected game when 4th ranked Rebels (2-10) were smashed by top-ranked Rockets (13-0) in Nassau 109-81 on Monday. Rockets looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Rebels' players. The former international guard Abel Joseph (200-1990, college: Holland) notched 9 points, 11 rebounds and 16 assists to lead the effort and Bertrum Minns supported him with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Even 14 points and 9 rebounds by Johnley Noel did not help to save the game for Rebels. Lance Posey added 8 points and 12 rebounds. Rockets have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-0 record. Rebels lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with ten games lost.
