Thompson's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

Forward Adrian Thompson (193-F) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked TMT Giants and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had a double-double of 20 points and 21 rebounds, while his team beat Bahamas Univ. (#4, 2-3) 69-62. TMT Giants maintains the 2nd position in their group in Bahamas league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. TMT Giants will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Thompson had a remarkable 53.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be TMT Giants' top player in his first season with the team. Thompson has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 13.5rpg) and averages solid 3.0spg.

Second best performed player last round was William Rigby of Caro Contractors Shockers. He is a in his 8th season at Shockers. In the last game Rigby recorded impressive double-double of 21 points and 17 rebounds. Bad luck as Shockers was edged by the higher-ranked Sunlight CS (#3, 2-2) 79-78. Shockers managed to keep the same 6th spot in Derrick Bats Ferguson. 4 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Rigby is one of the most experienced players at Shockers and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.3ppg (#6). Third place about best performers goes to Kendrick Humes of Sunlight Cottage Stampers (#3). Humes scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds. He was a key player of Sunlight CS, leading his team to a 79-78 win against Shockers (#6, 0-4). Sunlight CS needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Derrick Bats Ferguson. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Humes has a very solid season. In 4 games in Bahamas he scored 14.5ppg.
