The most exciting game of round 8 in the NPBA took place in Nassau. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers Regulators (2-3) to top-ranked Sand Dollar (3-0) 76-73 in the game for the second place. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Van Hutchinson (193) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds and Jeremy Neely who added 18 points and 4 steals during the contest. Tucker Boys at the other side dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Bahamas Univ. managed to escape with a 3-point win 68-65 in the fight for the third place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sunlight CS. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when TMT Giants made 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was Donovan Dean who scored 23 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Adrian Thompson (193) chipped in 18 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Forward Jonaldo Joseph (198, college: RWU) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and Bertrum Minns added 18 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests.
