Van Hutchinson's triple-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Bahamas Guard Van Hutchinson (193-G) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Sand Dollar and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
He recorded a triple-double of 19 points adding also 20 rebounds and 15 assists, while his team beat Tucker Boys (#4, 3-4) 105-97. Sand Dollar maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Bahamas league. They are still close to the very top. Sand Dollar would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 7-1 record. It's Hutchinson's second year at Sand Dollar and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Hutchinson has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 14.8rpg) and averages solid 3.0spg and 55.1% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Leon Bain of Tucker Boys. He is a in his second season at Tucker Boys. In the last game Bain recorded an impressive 37 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Bad luck as Tucker Boys lost that game 97-105 to slightly higher-ranked Sand Dollar (#2, 7-1). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Michael Boshang Cooper. Tucker Boys still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-4 record. Bain is well-known at Tucker Boys and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.8ppg (#7). His other stats are also decent: 4.8rpg and 3.8apg.

Third place about best performers goes to Camron Strachan of Sunlight Cottage Stampers (#6). Strachan scored 15 points and grabbed 21 rebounds (!!!). Despite Strachan's great performance the Sunlight CS lost 58-68 to Shockers (2-7). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Sunlight CS can only dream about fighting for top spots in Derrick Bats Ferguson. They have rather bad season and 2-7 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Strachan has individually a great season in Bahamas. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 17.5rpg (#1 in league).
