Puerto Rico - Bahamas 77:88

Bahamas surprised Puerto Rico in San Juan at the start of the 2025 AmeriCup Qualifiers. The guests grabbed a valuable 88-77 win due to a strong first quarter. Bahamas nailed 30 points in the first frame and led 14 points at the halftime. Both teams nailed 24 points each in the third quarter, whilst Puerto Rico closed the game with a narrow 20-17 run.
Domnick Bridgewater (178-PG-2000) led the way with 20 points and Kentwan Smith (203-F-1991, college: Stetson) nailed 17. Kai Jones (211-C/F-2001, college: Texas) poured in 13, whilst David Nesbitt (203-PF-1991, college: St.Thomas, FL) had 10. Tjader Fernandez (178-PG-1994) notched 17 points in the losing effort and Davon Reed (198-G/F-1995, college: Miami, FL) brought 14.
