Bertrum Minns claims Bahamas NPBA weekly honour

Bertrum Minns had a great game in the last round for Zulu Media Marketing and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
The had a double-double of 31 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Island DR (#5, 2-10) 94-85. Zulu MM is placed at 4th position in Bahamas NPBA. Zulu MM is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-9 record. In the team's last game Minns had a remarkable 56.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Zulu MM's top player in his first season with the team. Minns has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.5ppg. Minns is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 11.9rpg) and averages solid 2.7spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Camron Strachan of Sunlight Cottage Stampers. Strachan impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 12 points and 27 rebounds. Of course he led Sunlight CS to another comfortable win 73-58 over slightly higher-ranked TMT Giants (#3, 6-7) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Sunlight CS to move up to 5th position in Derrick Bats Ferguson. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-8 record. Strachan is a newcomer at Sunlight CS and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was international guard Jackson Jacob (186-G) of top-ranked Commonwealth Bank Giants. Jacob scored 29 points and passed 7 assists. He was a key player of Giants, leading his team to a 101-67 easy win against #2 ranked Sand Dollar in a game of the week. Giants have amazing season winning all 14 games without a single defeat in Michael Boshang Cooper. Jacob turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Jacob has a great season in Bahamas. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 25.9ppg (2nd best) and assists with 4.5apg (7th best).
