Cuba beat Bahamas to top Group D at the 2025 AmeriCup Qualifiers. They improved to a 2-1 record after a 76-62 win. The hosts grabbed a 16-11 lead at the Coliseo de la Ciudad Deportiva. Moreover, they posted an 18-15 run in the second frame and added two more narrow wins in the second half.
Yoanki Mencia (198-F-1997) led the way with 17 points and Tito Casero (184-G-1997) added 12. Reynaldo Garcia (187-G-1990) and Howard Sant-Roos (201-G-1991, agency: Octagon Europe) followed them with 11 points each in a win. Rashad Davis (195-F-1996, college: FIU) and Tavario Miller (203-C-1994, college: Texas A&M) replied with 17 points each in the losing effort.
