Neely's 20 points and 6 rebounds give him Player of the Week award

Jeremy Neely put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Sand Dollar and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had the game-high 20 points adding six rebounds and three assists for Sand Dollar in his team's victory, helping them to beat Island DR (#6, 2-3) 73-58. Sand Dollar maintains the 3rd position in Bahamas league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Sand Dollar already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Neely had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He has many years of experience at Sand Dollar, through which he has constantly improved. Neely has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 17.7ppg), assists (4th best: 5.0apg) and averages solid 2.7spg and 42.1% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was David Taylor (G) of league's second-best Bamboo Shack Elite. He is a guard in his first season at Bamboo SE. In the last game Taylor recorded an impressive 21 points and 2 rebounds. It was enough for Bamboo SE to edge the lower-ranked TMT Giants (#8, 1-4) by 3 points 50-47. Bamboo SE's second position in the standings has not changed. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 6 matches. Taylor is a newcomer at Bamboo SE and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to William Rigby of Everybody Wins Shockers (#7). Rigby scored 9 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). Despite Rigby's great performance the Shockers lost 57-64 to the league's current leader Rockets (#1, 6-0). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Shockers can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-3 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Rigby has individually a great season in Bahamas. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.3ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 12.3rpg (4th best).
