Danrad Knowles signs at Salou

Danrad Knowles

OCA Global CB Salou (Segunda FEB) signed 33-year-old Bahamas-American 208cm power forward Danrad Knowles (college: Houston). He began the season at Azulejos. In 8 Segunda FEB games in Spain, he averaged 4.3ppg and 3.4rpg. Last season, he played for another Spanish team, Azpeitia Juaristi Iraurgi Saski Baloia.
In 2017, he was selected by the Grand Rapids Drive (G-League) in the third round (65th overall) draft.
He graduated from the University of Houston and it is his ninth season in pro basketball. Knowles was a member of the Bahamas Senior National Team between 2020 and 2022.
Thanks to pro basketball, he has experienced life on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American, and North American leagues. Knowles has played professionally in the Bahamas (Rockets), Spain (L'Hospitalet and Cantbasket), and the Bahamas.
His team won the Bahamas NPBA Vince Ferguson Division Regular Season in 2020.
