Wildgoose's double-double lands him GBBA Player of the Week award

33-year old Travis Wildgoose (G -1992) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Connect Shipping Jets and receives a Hoops Agents GBBA Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had a double-double of 29 points and 17 rebounds, while his team lost the game against the league's best team Dudley BS (#1, 3-0) 82-91. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Connect SJ is placed at 2nd position in Bahamas GBBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Connect SJ will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Wildgoose had a remarkable 64.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Connect SJ, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Cleveland State Community College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Wildgoose is league's best scorer averaging so far 14.0ppg. Wildgoose is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 9.3rpg) and assists (6th best: 3.7apg).

Second best performed player last round was Lathorne Austin (G ) of 242 Elite. He is a in his first season at 242 Elite. In the last game Austin recorded an impressive double-double of 34 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as 242 Elite lost that game 80-87 to slightly higher-ranked Ods Fugees (#7, 2-2). This loss caused 242 Elite to drop to 9th position in the standings. 3 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory 242 Elite managed to get this year. Austin is a newcomer at 242 Elite and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.0ppg (#9). He also registered 7.7 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to Corey Thompson (SF) of Ods Fugees (#7). Thompson scored 18 points and grabbed 18 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Ods Fugees, leading his team to a 87-80 win against slightly lower-ranked 242 Elite (#9, 1-3). Ods Fugees needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Thompson has a great season in Bahamas. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.0ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 12.5rpg (#1 in league).
