Bahamas NPBA round 11 best performance: Qyemah Gibson (by Hoops Agents)

International Forward Qyemah Gibson (196-F-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Western Air High Flyers, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 28-year old player was the main contributor (24 points, five rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Tucker Boys (#8, 3-8) with 17-point margin 90-73. It allowed High Flyers to consolidate first place in the Bahamas NPBA. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and High Flyers keeps a perfect 10-0 record. In the team's last game Gibson had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. He just recently signed at High Flyers, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Saint Mary's University star has very solid stats this year. Gibson is in league's top in points (4th best: 18.7ppg) and averages impressive 58.3% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Rakeem Minnis of TMT Giants. Minnis had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as TMT Giants was edged by slightly lower-ranked Tucker Boys (#8, 3-8) 68-64. TMT Giants managed to keep the same 6th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-7 record. Minnis is a newcomer at TMT Giants, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another TMT Giants' star - Rashad Sturrup. Sturrup showcased his all-around game by recording 9 points, 12 rebounds (!!!) and 5 assists in the last round. Despite Sturrup's great performance the TMT Giants lost 54-58 to slightly higher-ranked Millionaires (#4, 6-6). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. The chances of TMT Giants ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 7 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Sturrup could help TMT Giants to bring them higher in the standings. Sturrup has a great season in Bahamas. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.6rpg (6th best).

10. Lorenzo Rolle) of Tucker Boys - 12 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists
