GBBA Round 11 (Regular Season): Dudley BS defeat Connect SJ in the game between Top 4 teams

An interesting game for Dudley BS (10-0) which hosted in 3rd placed Connect SJ (6-4). Leader Dudley BS had an easy win 97-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Connect SJ. Dudley BS dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Connect SJ's 24. Dudley BS forced 27 Connect SJ turnovers and outrebounded them 55-42 including a 23-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Dudley BS looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Trevor Bain orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Shemar Pinder contributed with 9 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 7 steals for the winners. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international guard Dajhon Wildgoose (182-1991) who helped to win the game recording 34 points (!!!). Travis Wildgoose helped adding 15 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. John Knowles responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 22 rebounds and 5 assists. Connect SJ players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked Celebration KS's (4-6) home victory over 8th ranked Lil Boat (1-8) 68-51. Celebration KS outrebounded Lil Boat 31-20. It was a great evening for point guard Javez Marting who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. point guard Trenaz Rigby helped adding 22 points and 4 assists. Baltrim Beckles responded with 14 points and 5 rebounds and Javanno Martin scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Newly promoted Celebration KS maintains seventh place with 4-6 record. Lil Boat lost their fifth game in a row. Lil Boat at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with Pelican BF.
