Coleby's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

36-year old Kadeem Coleby (206-C/F-1989) put on an amazing game in the last round for Caribbean Moonshine Rockets and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
He had a double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat TMT Giants (#9, 5-13) 73-59. Rockets maintains the 3rd position in Bahamas league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Rockets will need more victories to improve their 12-5 record. In the team's last game Coleby had a remarkable 58.8% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Rockets, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Wichita State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Coleby is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 13.0rpg) and averages solid 2.4bpg. Worth to mention Coleby played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Kemsey Sylvestre (C) of top-ranked Western Air High Flyers. He is a center in his first season at High Flyers. In the last game Sylvestre recorded an impressive 21 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. It was enough for High Flyers to edge slightly lower-ranked Rockets (#3, 12-5) by 3 points 86-83. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. High Flyers consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. His team lost just two games this season, while they won 16 matches. Sylvestre is one of the most experienced players at High Flyers and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Lorenzo Rolle of Tucker Boys (#10). Rolle scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was a key player of Tucker Boys, leading his team to a 66-57 win against the higher-ranked Rebels (#7, 6-11). Tucker Boys can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 4-12 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Rolle has individually a great season in Bahamas. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.3ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 9.5rpg (3rd best).
