St. John's University tabbed 20-year-old Bahamas e6-9 forward Donnie Freeman. He played for the last two years at Syracuse University. In 22 games last season, he averaged an impressive 16.4ppg, 7.3rpg, and 1.4apg. He was also voted to All-Atlantic Coast Conference Honorable Mention and NABC Division I All-North Atlantic District First Team in 2026.
Freeman played high school basketball at IMG Prep Academy in Bradenton, FL, where he graduated in 2024.
He also represented Bahamas at the FIBA Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in Valencia, Spain, two years ago.
