Kyrone Alexander (196-G-2003, college: Boston U.) gave the Clapham Bulls exactly what a Game 5 demands, playing all 40 minutes and delivering a monster all-around performance 34 points on 13-of-26 shooting, eight assists and a remarkable seven steals to lead Burger King Clapham Bulls past C.A.M Smart Assurance City United Celtics, 102-98, and claim a third consecutive Co-Operators General Insurance BABA Premier League title. It wasn't a comfortable night for the two-time defending champions. City United Celtics, chasing their first-ever Premier League crown to pair with an earlier Presidents' Cup win, matched the Bulls shot for shot deep into the fourth quarter. Kiserian Adams (193-G-2000, college: Baton Rouge) was outstanding for the Celtics, scoring 24 points on 9-of-11 shooting including 5-of-7 from beyond the arc while grabbing seven rebounds in 40 minutes of his own. Theo Greenidge (G) added 22 points on 18 attempts, and a player logged as Deroni Hurley (175-G-2001) chipped in 24 points on an efficient 7-of-13 shooting with six triples, giving the Celtics three players in the twenties in a losing effort. The difference in the end came down to the supporting cast around Alexander. Akeem Marsh (208-C-1986) delivered a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds on 8-of-10 shooting, Rasheed Maynard (185-F-2000) added 15 points and five assists, Rahim Gibbons (178-G-1991) contributed 15 points on five made threes, and Simeon Maynard (178-G-2004) chipped in 10. The Bulls out-assisted the Celtics 22-17 despite the tight scoreline, and Alexander's night alone an efficiency rating of 40, the best mark of the game was enough to hold off a Celtics side that shot a combined 47 percent from three as a team but couldn't quite match the champions down the stretch.
