BABA Round 15: Leader Lumber loses to Warriors - Apr 10, 2017

What a coincidence that all visitors won their games.

Top ranked Lumber (8-2) recorded its second loss at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by sixth ranked Warriors (5-4) 75-70. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Lumber. Warriors have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Bulls. Lumber at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. They share it with Cavaliers. Warriors is looking forward to face higher ranked Pinelands (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lumber will play against the league's second-placed Cavaliers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Bridgetown. Second ranked Cavaliers faced 3rd placed Pinelands. Guests from (8-2) defeated host Pinelands (6-3) 92-83. Cavaliers have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They used an opportunity after Lumber lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Defending champion Pinelands keep the third place with three games lost. They share the position with Sonics. Cavaliers will play against league's leader Lumber in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pinelands will play against Warriors and hope to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked Tridents (0-9) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 88-80 loss to eighth ranked Hawks (2-8) in on Sunday evening. Hawks maintains eighth place with 2-8 record. Tridents lost their ninth game in a row. They still close the standings with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Sonics (6-3) played at the court of 7th ranked PanAm I.I. (2-7). Sonics did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 88-68. Sonics moved-up to third place, which they share with Pinelands. PanAm I.I. at the other side keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Pinelands - Cavaliers 83-92
