BABA Round 20: PanAm I.I. defeats Hawks in the closest game of the week - Apr 24, 2017

The most exciting game of round 20 in the BABA took place in Bridgetown. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 8th ranked Hawks (2-10) to seventh ranked PanAm I.I. (4-8) 76-75 in the game for the seventh place. PanAm I.I. maintains seventh position with 4-8 record. Hawks at the other side keep the eighth place with ten games lost. PanAm I.I. are looking forward to face league's leader Bridgetown in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Hawks will play against Pinelands (#4) and are hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Bridgetown. Third ranked host Lakers (10-3) defeated 4th ranked Pinelands (8-4) 86-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Pinelands. Lakers moved-up to second place. Defending champion Pinelands keep the fourth position with four games lost. Lakers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Pinelands will play against Hawks (#8) and hope to get back on the winning track.
BABA top team - Bridgetown (10-2) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Tridents (0-12) 98-78. Bridgetown have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-2 record. Loser Tridents still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Bridgetown will meet PanAm I.I. (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Tridents will have a break next round.
The game in was also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Bulls (5-6) played at the court of sixth ranked Warriors (6-6). Warriors managed to secure a 9-point victory 78-69. Warriors moved-up to fifth place. Bulls lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Warriors - Bulls 78-69

The game in was also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Bulls (5-6) played at the court of sixth ranked Warriors (6-6). Warriors managed to secure a 9-point victory 78-69. Warriors moved-up to fifth place. Bulls lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with six games lost.
