BABA Round 26: Lakers defeat Sonics in the game between Top 4 teams - Jun 26, 2017

There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in BABA.

An interesting game for Lakers (12-3) which played road game in against one of their biggest challengers Sonics (10-5). Second ranked Lakers managed to get a 5-point victory 77-72. Lakers have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 12-3 record having just three points less than leader Cavaliers. Sonics at the other side keep the third place with five games lost. Lakers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Sonics will play against Hawks and are hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
BABA top team - Bridgetown (14-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Warriors (8-7) 90-58. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Warriors. Bridgetown have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-2 record. Warriors at the other side keep the fifth place with seven games lost. Bridgetown will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Warriors will play again against the league's leader Bridgetown (#1) and hope to get back on the winning track.

In the last game of round 26 PanAm I.I. was smashed by Bulls on the road 82-51.

Warriors - Cavaliers 58-90

Bulls - PanAm I.I. 82-51

The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth ranked Bulls' (7-7) home victory over 7th ranked PanAm I.I. (4-12) 82-51. Bulls maintains sixth position with 7-7 record. PanAm I.I. lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Lumber Company Lakers are just a game away from another Co-operators General Insurance Premier League title, having survived one furious fourth-quarter rally before pulling out Tuesday's 78-74 Game 3 victory over Hilton Barbados Warriors at the Wildey Gym.
