This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Lakers (7-3) to first ranked Bulls (8-1) 66-64 on Thursday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Lakers. Bulls looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Akeem Marsh (208-86) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. The former international point guard Rahim Gibbons (178-91) chipped in 13 points and 6 assists. Bulls' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The former international guard Ricardo Jemmott produced a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks for the guests. Bulls maintains first place with 8-1 record. Lakers at the other side keep the third position with three games lost. Bulls are looking forward to face league's second-placed Bridgetown in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lakers will have a break next round.

International forward Justin Pile (196-97) saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. Nicholia Williams contributed with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winners. Center Joel Hunte answered with 23 points and 4 steals for Bridgetown. Bridgetown's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Warriors have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Pinelands. Defending champion Bridgetown keeps the second position with two games lost. Warriors will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bridgetown will play against the league's leader Bulls and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
