The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Bulls (10-2) on the court of second ranked Bridgetown on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Bridgetown 72-60. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Bulls. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Bridgetown forced 31 Bulls turnovers and outrebounded them 55-40 including a 23-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a good game for American power forward Granville Gittens (198, college: Baruch) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Swingman Darren Hunte contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Daniel Durant replied with 8 points and 7 rebounds for Bulls. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains second position with 9-3 record behind leader Bulls. Bulls at the other side still keep top place with two games lost.
Bottom-ranked Celtics is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 12th consecutive match to fifth ranked Pinelands (5-7) 82-70. Guard Kadeem Brathwaite scored 31 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Charles Vanderpool chipped in 12 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Stevenson Callender with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Pinelands maintains fifth position with 5-7 record. Newly promoted Celtics still closes the standings with 12 games lost.

Bottom-ranked Celtics is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 12th consecutive match to fifth ranked Pinelands (5-7) 82-70. Pinelands players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Guard Kadeem Brathwaite scored 31 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international power forward Charles Vanderpool (203-86, college: Bridgeport) chipped in 12 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Five Pinelands players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Stevenson Callender with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and center Jonathan Fitt produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds. Pinelands maintains fifth position with 5-7 record. Newly promoted Celtics still closes the standings with 12 games lost.
