Lady Tridents win 2019 opener

Lady Tridents won 2019 opener as they edged Lady Cougars 62-56. Zahra Ashby (G-02) top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Tower Lorde (F-01) had 13. Rashanna Thorne (G-01) followed them with 13 points in the winning effort. Toni Atherley (173-G-83, college: Fresno St.) replied with 31 points and 16 rebounds in a loss, whilst Jennifer Joseph-Hackett (179-C/F-82) collected 15 points and 14 boards.
In the second game Pinelands overcame Lady Tridents 62-57.
