Pinelands forced 23 Lakers turnovers. Deveron Knight orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds. The former international guard Deroni Hurley (175-2001) contributed with 28 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Pinelands players scored in double figures. Center Tyreke Harewood (, college: Orange CC) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and naturalized Grenadian forward Jehu Lafeuillee (203, college: IU East) added 22 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Lakers.

Strangely Cavaliers outrebounded Bulls 52-35 including 21 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Rahiim Gibbons who scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international forward Kemar Benn (198-2001, college: Baton Rouge) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds. Power forward Joel Hunte produced 24 points and 5 assists and guard Gavin Phillips added 14 points and 15 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
