Guard Derion Hurley orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 rebounds. Deroni Hurley contributed with 16 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Pinelands' coach Renaldo Maughn felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sean Harding answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for Spartans. Undefeated Pinelands have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Cavaliers. Spartans at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost.

Cavaliers' coach Adrian Craigwell used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Jehu Lafeuillee responded with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Cavaliers. They maintain first place with 5-0 record, which they share with Pinelands. Loser Lakers dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Tridents and Warrens.
In the last game of round 5 Warrens were crushed by Bulls in Bridgetown 89-50.
