First defeat of league's leader Cavaliers (6-1) against top-ranked Pinelands (7-0) 75-67 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Cavaliers. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Pinelands forced 24 Cavaliers turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a good game for the former international guard Kiserian Adams (193-2000, college: Baton Rouge) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. The former international guard Deroni Hurley (175-2001) contributed with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Zachary Cave replied with 23 points and 7 rebounds for Cavaliers. Undefeated Pinelands have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Cavaliers at the other side dropped to the second place with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Pinelands.
Another exciting game for Bulls (5-2) which played in Bridgetown against Celtics (4-3). Third ranked Bulls saved the game by a tiny margin of three points 74-71. The former international power forward Akeem Marsh (208-1986) had a double-double by scoring 10 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Kemar Benn chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was power forward Joel Hunte with 27 points and 9 rebounds. Celtics' coach C Vanderpool tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Bulls have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 5-2 record having just two points less than leader Pinelands. Celtics at the other side keep the fourth place with three games lost.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Bridgetown: Tridents (#6) and Spartans (#8). Spartans were defeated at home 77-88 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Tristan Yarde notched a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort. Even a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds by Dale Franklyn did not help to save the game for Spartans. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tridents (2-5) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Lakers and Warrens. Loser Spartans still closes the standings with seven games lost.
In the last game of round 6 Warrens were smashed by Lakers on the road 87-63.
