Lafeuillee's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

GRN-BARn Forward Jehu Lafeuillee (203-F) had an amazing evening in the last round for Lakers Sports Club and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had a double-double of 31 points and 23 rebounds, while his team crushed Warrens (2-5) with 24-point margin 87-63. Lakers is placed at 5th position in Barbados league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 5 games and recorded just two victories. In the team's last game Lafeuillee had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 11 attempts. He just recently signed at Lakers, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Indiana University East graduate has very impressive stats this year. Lafeuillee is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.2ppg and leads league in rebounds with 14.2rpg. Lafeuillee is in league's top in and averages solid 2.8bpg,56.0% FGP and 52.1% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Zane Gaskin (G) of NSC Combined Schools Tridents. He is a guard in his first season at Tridents. In the last game Gaskin recorded an impressive 16 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course Tridents cruised to a 88-77 relatively comfortable win over Spartans (#8, 0-7). Tridents' 6th position in the standings has not changed. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Tridents managed to get this year. Gaskin is a newcomer at Tridents and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third place about best performers goes to swingman Deveron Knight (190-F/G-2000) of league's second-best Station Hill Cavaliers. Knight scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Despite Knight's great performance the Cavaliers lost 67-75 to #1 ranked Pinelands. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Cavaliers had another "accident". It may be a crucial game and cause dropping from the group of top ranked teams. The record is still good, but 1st lost game is hopefully really an accident. Knight's teammates are also very good. That's why having such high stats is even more impressive. Knight has a great season in Barbados. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.2ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 10.2rpg (5th best). He also has 3.2spg and a FGP of 54.4%.
