The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Bridgetown: Tridents (#6) and Spartans (#8). Tridents (3-5) won against visiting Spartans (0-8) 82-77. Tridents forced 23 Spartans turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Tridents made 9 blocks. It was a great evening for forward Antoine Winter who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Zane Gaskin helped adding 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Tridents' coach C. Edwards used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side Karlos Greenidge responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds. Tridents moved-up to fifth place. Spartans at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost.
Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Bridgetown: Cavaliers (#2) and Lakers (#6). Cavaliers (7-1) crushed visiting Lakers (2-6) by 27 points 92-65. It was an exceptional evening for guard Brandon Ruck who led the winners and scored 21 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Adriel Brathwaite accounted for 13 points and 12 rebounds. Cavaliers' coach Adrian Craigwell felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized Grenadian forward Jehu Lafeuillee (203, college: IU East) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 9 blocks (made all of his seven free throws) for Lakers in the defeat. Cavaliers maintains second place with 7-1 record having just one point less than leader Pinelands. Lakers at the other side dropped to the seventh position with six games lost.
